One-day-getaway

It's been a few weeks after we had our one-day-getaway-camping.

As you've remember before in my last posting I mention that we are going to have a camping as one of my birthday celebration. It did really happened after all those worries about the weather, it went really good. The weather was great and the place was awesome.

On the day of 06-05-09 we woke up early and hurried up preparing everything for our adventure, we left home around 6 am since it would be like 5 hours road trip to get there in the camping site which is in Marathon Bahia State Park. I was a lil worried when we left home coz the weather doesn't seem real good but then as we head through our destination the sun started to rise and shine. I was really excited about it coz I finally get to see the other side of the Sunshine State, from Key Largo to Marathon you could tell that in that area it shows more about beach, there were a lot of resorts, I saw different kinds of boats, yachts and jet ski's. It was so much fun looking at those amazing expensive things even though I just saw it in a glance, I don't even want to blink my eyes coz I don't want to miss anything on that side of Florida it just really amaze me. The beach were really pretty, white fined sand, clear water and the amazing colors of the water from the deepest sea through sea shores lol. I couldn't stop myself to say its like paradise.

As we past through the 7 miles bridge(crazy but yeah 7 miles)we finally arrive in our camp site, whew! I am so anxious to get out of the car coz I could feel that my butt hurts already*grin-wink*. It was pretty awesome the space was huge and they have complete facilities for the people who were having camping and we could go fishing and we were surprised that there were cabins but the rates were pretty crazy. So we set up the tent and had bbq, we have a lil issue coz its super hot but the fresh breeze helps to lessen the heat. Everything went fine we even had our first dip for summer waited for sunset. It was really beautiful until the suns goes down and night making his way, there were no lights in the vicinity we have to provide for our own light I don't know why I find it really silly. So that night was really a disaster, it started to rained with thunder and lighting, the tent wasn't really water proof except the flooring on it, there were mosquitoes, we didn't had a good sleep and I got wet. I was so pissed already that I can't wait till morning to get out from that situation and so as my hubby. So first thing in the morning we packed our stuff and drop by at the shower area and head home.

It might be a lil disaster but still it was so much fun to have that kind of experience once in our lives. We had a great time together. Ooops! I forgot to mention bububchacha. Yeah we brought him with us and I do think that he had a great time also.
